Dixie Elementary School: A K-5 California Distinguished School and a National Blue Ribbon School

Every school in the State of California is mandated to have a Site Council. The council is comprised of parents, teachers, one administrator and one staff member and provides a structured forum for representatives of the parent community to come and discuss the policies and management of Dixie School. It is responsible for writing and monitoring an annual school site plan that addresses the quality of the school's education and strategies to maintain and improve it. Acting as a place to discuss any school or district issues that arise during the year, meetings are open to all who wish to attend. Get involved with a dynamite group of people working to improve our kids' school!
