Dixie Elementary School: A K-5 California Distinguished School and a National Blue Ribbon School

There are many ways to be involved with your child’s education at Dixie. You can join the Room Parent program, volunteer with one of the many programs offered by the Dixie Home & School Club (see below), become a CanDo! Representative or help with programs sponsored by the Dixie Site Council. Some parents volunteer for more than one classroom or group, or volunteer for special events.  

Parents who are not available to volunteer on site can always contribute by donating to CanDo!, which funds vital campus instruction and resources, signing up for Escrip, and donating to various home and school fundraisers such as the Garden Club’s spring bulbs fundraiser and the winter gift wrap drive.  

In addition to the above, our Student Council and scout groups sponsor a variety of community service drives throughout the year, among them collecting food for the Marin Food Bank, toiletry supplies for Ritter House and blankets for the homeless.
